Getting Started: Installing Metronome Client What is a Data Point?
In Metronome, a data point represents any significant event that occurs on your app. This includes:- Requests: Requests made to your app.
- Loader or Action Calls: Depending on the request method, a loader or action call.
- Page Views: When a webpage is viewed or refreshed.
- Web Vitals: Metrics indicating website health and performance.
- Errors: JavaScript errors or failed requests.
Clarification on Data Point Generation
Each initial user visit typically generates multiple data points:- One Request
- One Loader/Action Call
- Four Web Vitals Events
Subsequent visits may generate fewer data points, as some web vitals events might not be repeated.
